Your primary purpose here at Robert Morris is to get an education to help ensure a happy and successful future. Here are some suggestions on how to be successful academically:
- Go to class and pay attention. You cannot expect to get a good grade if you are not there and participating!
- Go to programs on study skills and time management. They are designed to help you.
- Visit the library and the computer lab so you are familiar with the resources available.
- Find a place where you can study each day. Schedule time for studying so you can be sure to keep up with all of your classes.
- Keep up with your reading and homework. Cramming is the least successful way to make good grades.
- Talk with your advisor regularly.
- Visit the Center for Student Success to talk with your counselor, get tutoring if you need it, and familiarize yourself with the resources available to you before academic difficulties arise.
