Resident Students
General care will be given to all residents. Some non-prescription medications are provided free of charge. Payment for medications prescribed by the University physician will be the student's responsibility.

Student Health Services will aid students in obtaining appointments with physicians and dentists in the community. Any fees incurred for these services will be the responsibility of the student. Allergy injections are administered to students who provide the Student Health Services with specific written physician orders, an injection schedule, and are seen when the doctor is on campus. See the Antigen Administration Policy.
- Depo Provera injections are administered to residential students who provide the Student Health Services with specific written physician orders and the medication. Commuter students will be charged $10.00
- Crutches and canes are available on loan to students when needed. If not returned, a fee of $35 will be assessed.
- Pregnancy testing is available for $5.00 per test.
- Referrals are made for students in need of birth control services, sexually transmitted disease testing and immunizations.
Commuter Students
Commuter students who seek medical attention in Student Health Services are required to:
- Complete a medical assessment form prior to being seen by either the nurse or physician if there is no health form on file
- Pay a $10.00 fee per visit (cash only
Student Health Services may deny a commuter student medical treatment if he/she does not complete the medical assessment form and submit the $10.00 fee. These students will be provided with a medical practice referral list. In the event of an emergency situation, the commuter student will be seen and appropriate follow-up regarding forms and payment will be handled at a later time.
