The Sigma Sigma Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was charted on February 10, 2007, making it the first African-American sorority on the campus of Robert Morris University. The ladies of Zeta Phi Beta value the ideals of Sisterhood, Finer Womanhood, Service, and Scholarship. As one of our honorable founders, Viola Tyler Goings once quoted. There is a Zeta in a girl regardless of race, creed, or color, who has high standards of principles, a good scholarly average, and an active interest in all things. Our sisterhood is rooted in respect, genuine concern and uplifting of each other to reach our full potential. We exhibit our finer womanhood as honest positive ladies with respect and love for self and our membership. We have dedication to providing excellent service to our community. Scholarship affirms our commitment to continual growth and improvement of our membership, as well as the community at large. On Robert Morris University campus, these ideals will be reflected as Sigma Sigma strives to create diversity amongst Greek life; uplift women by setting the example of achieving outstanding academic standards; and providing countless hours of voluntary community service through our organization’s widespread national initiatives.
