Taking an income tax class in law school was my first introduction to the world of taxation. The U.S. income tax system is a complex and ever-changing puzzle. Even greater than my love of tax is my love of teaching. Explaining tax and generating enthusiasm for the topic is both challenging and rewarding.
Robert Morris University is a wonderful place to teach tax. Undergraduate students typically have not had much exposure to the field of taxation. It is a thrill to see students engaged in the material and enthusiastic about tax. My door is always open for students with questions about tax or how to pursue a career involving tax. One of Robert Morris University’s greatest strengths is the accessibility of its faculty.
The faculty members at Robert Morris University are dedicated to helping students succeed. Faculty members are also supportive of each other. The combination creates a strong community in which students can learn and develop a career path.
