Research & Grants Administration
The Office of Academic Affairs has the administrative responsibility for all faculty research and scholarly activities at Robert Morris University. In fulfilling these responsibilities, the Office of Academic Affairs promotes the educational objectives of Robert Morris University by encouraging, facilitating and fostering research in education, media production, engineering, math, science, business, social sciences, communications and all other fields. The functional areas supported include faculty research information services, proposal development, and other faculty scholarly activities.
- Dissemination of information on research and scholarly activities including funding sources and programs, career development opportunities, conferences, professional meetings.
- Coordination of faculty research seminars and workshops.
- Maintenance of faculty research expertise database.
- Assistance in identifying potential sources of funding or faculty research.
- Assistance in proposal and budget preparation, development, and submission to sponsoring agencies.
Maintenance of a website presence for faculty research and scholarly activities with links to funding sources, faculty expertise, faculty research and scholarly activity news, and recent announcements for funding opportunities, and guidelines for proposal and budget preparation.
