Technology for Nonprofits - General
Tech Soup is a multi-dimensional resource on the issues that face nonprofit technology managers. If you check out no other site on this list, check out Tech Soup.
The Center for Non-Profit Technology is a non-profit organization providing technological assistance to non-profit organizations and individuals.
Map for Nonprofits maintains a link library of valuable information for nonprofits. This link takes you to their section on computers and information technology.

Funding Technology
Network for Good has links to articles about funding technology as well as sources for funding, donated or discounted technology.
The Digital Divide Network lists government, corporate and private sources for funding technology in nonprofits, particularly those that work towards eliminating the digital divide.
Technology Grant News is published 4 times a year. It contains information about the latest technology grants and funding available, with profiles of winning projects and directions in technology development. It is available in print or in print with CD and you can also search their website.

HIPAA Security Standards
The Guide to Healthcare Schools has a nice primer to the basics of HIPAA law and a wealth of additional links.
The National Institute for Standards in Technology has produced a draft Resource Guide for Implementing the HIPAA Security Rule. This is available for download in PDF format.
The HIPAA Advisory Group of Phoenix Health Systems, while commercial, publishes much helpful information about HIPAA. This links you to a high-level guide to the things that need to be accomplished before April 2005.

Listservs and eNewsletters
Riders is a community of nonprofit technology assistance providers. The topics range from best practices in providing services to issues regarding specific technology.
The Nonprofit Techie listserv is a lively and focused forum where people involved in technology administration in all areas of the nonprofit sector can post resources, exchange ideas, and troubleshoot common problems.
The Discussions on TechSoup are often a great place to find or ask for up-to-date information on nonprofit technology issues. The discussions are usually hosted and moderated by nonprofit tech 'experts.'
ONElist is a monthly email providing conservation groups and other nonprofits with timely information about technology tips, advice on effective online communication, and the scoop on Web-based freebies and other products likely to prove useful to nonprofits
