The Office of Academic Affairs and the International Exchange Programs Office will work with applicants to prepare the necessary materials. All applicants should complete steps 1 and 2. Steps 3 through 7 can be completed as needed.

To apply to the program, submit the following materials at least four months in advance of the proposed period of stay:

1. International visiting scholars application form
2. Current curriculum vitae
3. Names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses of three references
4. Description of the proposed research topic and work plan (approximately 2,000 words)
5. Description of the teaching area and teaching objectives
6. Recent writing sample, such as a paper, research proposal or report
7. Description of the request and rationale for financial support, other sources of income and projected travel expenses
