Global Engagement

A Campus Connected to the World

Visit the Center for Global Engagement (CGE) and discover your Global Perspective! RMU strongly supports international awareness, involvement, and study through the CGE.

The CGE offers opportunities for RMU students to study, research, or intern around the world while staying on track for graduation.

Even for those who stay on campus, the CGE supports students’ Global Perspective through Global SET programs like Global Ambassadors, Conservation Exchange Partners, and the Global Village Living Learning Community.

The CGE is also your contact and support office if you are an international or exchange student at Robert Morris University. We are here to answer your questions about student visas, starting your student career in the U.S., and living in Pittsburgh.

International students

The CGE provides immigration, academic, and cultural support to international members of the RMU community. RMU offers opportunities for international students to complete full degree programs or study here for a semester or a year through our exchange partnerships.

Study Abroad

RMU offers many unique and affordable study abroad opportunities that allow students to earn credit towards their degrees and still graduate on time. Students can spend a semester or summer abroad in 25 countries around the world or take an RMU course, taught by RMU faculty, that includes an abroad component of 10-14 days.

Rooney International Visiting Scholars

Each semester, the Rooney International Visiting Scholar Program brings a new international professor to live on campus (right next to the CGE!) and share their expertise and diverse perspectives with the RMU community.
