ORGL3700 - Leadership and Communication Fall 2012 This course explores how communication affects, positively and negatively, the leader-follower dynamic. It also includes the role and function of communication in creating, structuring, and maintaining contemporary organizations by examining communication models of organizational theory, interpersonal dynamics, conflict management, technology, and issues of diversity. Communication models, strategies for crisis communication and other public relations efforts, as well as practice in professional writing and presenting will be offered. 3 Credits
