MGMT3700 - Labor Management Relations
Fall 2012 This course introduces the student to the collective bargaining process between the employer and a union. Areas of concentration include the history and impact of organized labor, union organizations, labor laws, contract negotiations and contract implementation, the grievance procedure, arbitration, wages, and seniority rights. Group case problems and a collective bargaining simulation are integral components of the course. Communication Skills sections available. Prerequisites: MGMT3100 and 60 credits 3 Credits |
