INFS6840 - Info Technology Governance
Fall 2012 This course provides a "Defense in Depth" perspective on protecting computer-based information in a modern networked environment. The course covers a wide range of technical issues and topics including the basics of network security; network threats, vulnerabilities and risks; computer crime; encryption; virtual private networks; and emerging network security technologies such as firewalls and intrusion detection. The course also defines the role of all personnel in promoting security awareness. Prerequisite: INFS6490 3 Credits |
