Faculty - School of Communications and Information Systems

For the upcoming 2013-2014 academic year, Robert Morris University is recruiting for full-time faculty positions.  Under the leadership of President Gregory Dell'Omo and Provost David Jamison, the University is committed to continuing and enhancing the academic rigor of our programs. RMU enrolled the three largest incoming classes in its history the past three years, and the academic profile of our students continues to grow.

Robert Morris University's School of Communications and Information Systems is accepting applications for full-time faculty positions:

Assistant Professor - Communication. Full-time faculty member will teach in one or more specializations in the undergraduate degree program, including advertising and converged media/journalism. A Ph.D. is required. Previous university teaching and industry experience strongly preferred.

Assistant Professor - Computer and Information Systems. Full-time faculty member will teach one or more of the following: enterprise systems, software quality assurance, information technology project management, cyber forensics, information security, competitive intelligence systems, computer networking and application programming. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or Computer Information Systems. Previous university teaching and practical experience in computer information systems are preferred.

Assistant Professor - Organizational Leadership. Full-time faculty member will teach in the undergraduate and graduate Organizational Leadership degree programs. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership or a related discipline. Demonstrated excellence in distance learning delivery is required and professional and/or business experience is desirable.
