JobsInTax.com recently named RMU's M.S. in Taxation as one of its highest-regarded Masters in Tax programs in the United States.
To obtain the M.S. in Taxation degree, you must successfully complete 30 credits. Classes are run in four eight-week sessions per year on Saturdays at the RMU campus in Moon Township with time away from class during tax season. Two courses are offered per session, from 8 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m.
The program begins in late August and continues for three consecutive sessions through February, when classes adjourn for 11 weeks to provide students a break during tax season. Classes resume in late May, when students return to complete the two remaining eight-week sessions by the end of October.
By taking two courses per eight-week session (one morning class and one afternoon class), you can complete the program in 14 months with about three months off for tax season.
